About Us
Ruff Iron Retreat is a beautiful lodge inspired getaway in Western Kansas, perfect for hunters, family get togethers, crafters, company teambuilding events, and more. We are proud to say that we are local, family owned and operated. Our property is located on the outskirts of Hanston, Kansas. When you stay with us, you will receive a quiet, peaceful, retreat away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Our property backs up to a creek, with wide open spaces, fresh air, and lots of natural light. Our lodge has a spacious great room with full kitchenette and ample seating for up to 16 people.

Kitchenette
Make a meal for family, or pop some buttery popcorn for movie night. We offer a stove, microwave, refrigerator, double sink, and water cooler.
Kitchenware
We stock a basic set of pots, pans, cookie sheet, glasses, plates, and silverware for guests to use during their stay at the lodge.
Propane Grill
Use our propane grill to cook up some fresh burgers or to grill some fresh game after a hunt. We provide the grill and the propoane.

Use our complimentary Wifi to stream movies, or play online games with friends!
In-Unit Laundry
Guests are welcome to use the washer and dryer available off the great room at no charge.
